FELLOW CAMPERS, BACKPACKERS AND HUNTERS! Each year, my wife and I make our first outing as early in spring or late winter as we can. We LOVE the outdoors. But early on, it seemed that every time we embarked on another great outdoor adventure, we would marvel at the number of things we FORGOT to bring with us. As the years go by and our schedules get even busier, it gets even easier to forget things, so we decided to make ourselves some checklists* to leave nothing up to chance! These lists are not a new idea, but we thought it might help some folks if they had an easy way to download and print them out. Obviously, they may not include some items you might need for extreme weather conditions or specific needs, and they may even include much more than you need. We provide them here as a general checklist for specific outdoor activities. We do feel that all items listed are important to have according to our collective experiences in the great outdoors, so please feel free to print them out, use them, and add or subtract items according to your needs. More checklists are on the way for other specific outdoor activities, so check back again soon! Enjoy your outings and remember, leave it cleaner than you found it! See you out there!
